This typical Austro-Hungarian recipe has become a mainstay of South Tyrol’s culinary tradition. It is prepared like most traditional soups: after sautéing the onion and garlic, brown the meat gently, then pour in some red wine, leave to evaporate, add flour, paprika and tomato, and leave to braise. Finally, add peppers and potatoes and finish cooking.This ready-to-use soup can be heated in a pot or in the microwave oven. It's delicious right out of the tin or diluted slightly with broth or salted water.
